Both Lapis Lazuli and Sodalite look very similar, however there are unique differences that can help us tell it apart.
1. Blue Color – Sodalite has a dark blue and Lapis is a brighter blue. Both contain white calcite which are the white lines
2. Pyrite – Lapis has pyrite inclusions that gives it the metallic gold shine or specks
