We missed our second appearance at the Sunday Discovery Market on 10 January because of a 3-day COVID-19 lockdown that weekend. Whilst we were disappointed, we understood that it was for the safety of all Greater Brisbaners. Later that week, we received an email notification advising that the Sunday Discovery Markets were open on 17 January. Yes! We are back in action.
We arrived at the market with great optimism. However, our spirits were dampened when we heard from other stallholders that traffic might be slower than normal because of the lock down last weekend and it was compulsory to wear face masks. Nevertheless, we set up the stall with a positive mindset that we would have a great day.
Surely enough, we ended up having a great day. I am incredibly grateful to all the beautiful souls who came to the markets today. We loved connecting with the younger kids who are starting out on their crystal journey, the teens and young adults who were connecting with their crystals, and adults who were looking for crystals to bolster their well being or just looking to bring some vibrance to their home or workspace. We were happy to bring smiles to our newfound friends and will continue to make a difference to peoples lives through our crystals.
